Abstract: This paper addresses some of the many entry points and areas of consideration in technology arts and culture in Africa; areas of entry need to be explored in order to successfully address and assess technology arts in Africa. The comparisons that I make between the European and East & Southern African science and technology culture; this is a mechanism to understand what would make an African practice different. There are many similarities and as East and Southern Africa become more advanced in their technology practices the similarities equally advances, but there are key differences that are unique to Africa, and it is these that I highlight through this paper.
